Revolutionizing the fashion retail industry at the push of a button

As a Swiss start-up, originating from an idea of former ETH students, meepl has made it its business to revolutionize the fashion retail industry. They set the goal to calculate body measurements by only taking a front- and a sideview photograph. Storing this data in a centralized virtual body profile, enables them to handout accurate size recommendations for garments on any supporting online shopping platform. With this approach, the measuring process can be decoupled from the physical presence of customers and clothes can be tried on in a virtual dressing room.

Process was given the task of developing a digitally focused brand for "fision", as it was called in the beta version. This included defining a solid strategy, finding a suitable name and elaborating the visual identity. Another challenge was the revision of the onboarding process, which should be characterized by simplicity and a fluid user experience. As a core member of the project, I was responsible for the conception of the user journey as well as the design of the user interface. Besides I was involved in the development of the new identity and was able to take part in several strategy workshops.
